The reason we require you to update your existing e-mail address on your World of Warcraft Account to a newly created e-mail address that you just made is because if you decide to cancel your account submission before we inspect your account, we would need you to re-provide us your existing account information again in order to update your e-mail address back to what it originally was. This is beneficial to you because

• You do not need to wait on us to update your e-mail address to your previous e-mail address.
• You do not need to communicate with our customer service in order for you to reverse what you did before updating your e-mail address.
• This will not cause security issues with your account as you'd be the only one updating the e-mail address.
• You will control the account 100% the entire time as the newly created e-mail address is with your name and information.
• As well as multiple other issues

Based on our past years experience, it is preferred that you update your current e-mail address on your World of Warcraft Account to a newly created e-mail address with your name and information.
